Job summary:

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Test Technician located in Aguascalientes.

Test Technician is responsible for the maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of ICT and FCT test equipment used for validating electronic circuit boards (PCBA). This role involves analyzing, evaluating, adjusting, and executing tests to ensure the proper operation of test equipment and effective fault detection in production. Additionally, the technician participates in the planning and implementation of preventive and corrective maintenance strategies to ensure test system availability and efficiency.

What a typical day looks like:
  • Diagnosing and repairing failures in ICT and FCT test equipment to ensure availability for production.
  • Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on test equipment and fixtures.
  • Executing electrical and functional tests on printed circuit boards (PCBA) to verify performance.
  • Using measurement instruments to analyze and verify electronic circuits.
  • Interpreting electrical and electronic schematics for troubleshooting and fault detection.
  • Monitoring and tracking test equipment performance metrics to ensure efficiency.
  • Documenting failures, maintenance activities, and corrective actions performed on test equipment.
  • Collaborating with the engineering team in the implementation and validation of new test processes and improvements.
  • Providing technical support to production to minimize downtime and optimize test equipment performance.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
  • Experience in supporting and maintaining ICT, and FCT test equipment.
  • Knowledge of electronics and troubleshooting failures in printed circuit boards (PCBA).
  • Experience in interpreting electrical and electronic schematics.
  • Proficiency in using measurement instruments (multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal analyzers).
  • Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance of test equipment.
  • Ability to document and report maintenance activities and fault resolution.
  • Availability for flexible work schedules and ability to work in a team.
  • Intermediate English (preferred).
