To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Safety Staff Engineer located in Taiwan Taipei Wugu Site.

What a typical day looks like:
  • Manage product safety testing and plan certificate timeline to fulfill project schedule and budget requirement.
  • Implement safety testing technologies and deliver observations of compliance to product's specification and quality objectives.
  • Comprehensive evaluate safety & regulatory requirement and define safety plan for EV charging and BBU products.
  • Work with R&D team to review PCB layout safety requirement and product safety structure review.
  • Review regulatory certificate readiness and labels requirement for each country SKUs base on latest standard.
  • Perform product safety and EMC testing & certificate with 3rd party lab.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
  • Bachelor's degree or above with Power Electronics or electrical engineering background.
  • At least 10 years of working experiences and 5 years minimum for power supply industry, energy storage system and EV charging products.
  • Familiar in UL/IEC 60950-1& 62368-1, IEC 61000 standard and regulatory certificate for each country.
  • Experienced in UL 38.8, UL 1973, UL1998, UL9540A testing for energy storage products is preferred.
  • Highly self- learning for new safety standard and able to share with R&D instantaneously.
  • Good communication skill, able to discuss with R&D and customers in English, including oversee colleague from China, US Austin, Malaysia and Mexico.
  • Willing to take challenges for implementing new safety standard or regulatory for new innovative project.
