The Staff FW Engineer, RTOS MCU will be based in Taiwan Taipei Wugu Site. The Staff FW Engineer, RTOS MCU performs the responsibility for system design in RTOS MCU Solution Projects request.

What a typical day looks like:

1. Design RTOS MCU Firmware by applying knowledge of MCU on RTOS

2. Customize BMC stack (MCTP/PLDM) to meet customer's requirement

3. System level debug and root cause analysis for MCU RTOS firmware design

4. Cross-function teamwork for issues analysis and debug

5. Overall project responsibility in all aspects on SW design related- from project kick off to end of M.P.

6. Implement PLDM and MCTP protocol based on spec or porting from open-source code

The experience we are looking to add to our team:

• Bachelor or above degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science

• 8+ years' experience for debugging, development, and testing work in the MCU FreeRTOS environment

• Be highly passionate and interested in FreeRTOS development and capability of teamwork in multi-task environment

• Solid understanding of software implementation/design experience is required.

• Experience developing device drivers for peripherals and connectivity buses (e.g., I2C, SPI, PMBus, USB, CAN).

• Capability of independent research and working with new technologies is required.

• Excellent written and verbal communications skills (in Mandarin and English) is required.

• With strong sense of responsibility (be able to go on business trips, dispatch overseas is preferred)

• Domain expertise in DMTF MCTP and PLDM is plus
