To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Sr. Engineer, Power (DC/DC) located in Taiwan Taipei Wugu Site.

Reporting to the P ower Manager, the Sr. Engineer, Power role involves...

What a typical day looks like:
  • Focus on Mother Board Power design and validation. (i.e. Power RD)
  • Able to perform basic electrical signal measurement, like rework, scope waveform measurement and failure analysis.
  • Understanding of basic electrical knowledge, like electronics, electrical circuits, magnetics, voltage/current/power watt.
  • Concept of passive and electrical components, like Resistors / Capacitors / Inductor / MosFETs / BJT / ICs.
  • Familiar with instruments operation, like multi-meter, digital oscilloscope, current probe, function generator, rework station, DC source, electrical load and etc.
  • Basic understanding of PC, NB, server or electronics devices assembly.
  • Assist manager or staff engineers to execute project development and complete assignments on time.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
  • Electrical (or related) background education is a must.
  • Experience in Server, Storage, Telecom and PSU manufactures.
  • Skills of Intel VRTT and AMD Stardust test tools and their validation plans.
  • System power budget planning and Rack level power management knowledge is preferred
  • On-Job training will be offered, working experience is a plus but not a must.
  • Ability of report documentation, office software operation like word, excel, and powerpoint.
  • Will to learn new technology, self-motivation, brave to try & error, and responsible for assignments, are characteristics required.
  • Personality of open mind, team work, willing to communicate with people is a must.
