Job Summary

The Senior Director, NPI/Innovation will be based out of North America. This person will work with the Global Accounts team; Global Operations team and Advanced Manufacturing team executives to directly engage the customer to develop proactive business solutions to grow business with our core customer. The Sr Director will also engage sites and the Account Business Development teams to drive strategic and operational initiatives to ensure alignment of our customer and our Flex Global Ops team.

What a typical day looks like:
  • Impacts the long-term (annual) direction and financial or operational success of the Account.
  • Approves and/or creates functional processes or technologies. Establishes and ensures effective achievement of functional strategic plans and objectives for the site.
  • May have P&L responsibility for the function.
  • Develops plans for structuring and implementing major initiatives
  • This person will Work with Customer and internal engineers to develop processes, Design for Experiments & ensure timelines for successful product rollout.
  • Successfully guide and influence senior level management, executives and key clients in their commitment input needs.
  • Actively participates in and/or supports major equipment alignment alongside decision makers to appropriately achieve yield targets.
  • Provides the necessary/accurate direction and support to site Managers to ensure projects are executed as planned.
  • Ensure internal engineering has correct equipment, process control, process training plans for customer designs.
  • In depth NPI for Customer success.

The Experience we are looking to add to our team:
  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering
  • 10+ years experience with NPI managing complex Customers or Product lines.
  • Customer Interfacing experience at executive or Senior Leadership level.
  • Broad experience working with multiple manufacturing sites.
  • Demonstrates mastery of functional, technical knowledge in relation to other functions and a complete understanding of the function and those of related businesses.
