Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, this Summer, we're looking to add an PSMT Process Engineer Intern located in our Austin, TX site.
Reporting to the Process Engineering Manager, the student will assist with daily engineering tasks while learning, collaborating and working alongside Engineers and cross-functional teams.
What a typical day looks like:
- Defines, implements and evaluates proposed designs and processes for manufacturability
- Participates in daily production activities and effective problem solving on daily issues
- Oversees new process equipment production and engineering change orders (ECOs).
- Establishes robust, repeatable and reproducible process parameters and takes ownership of process control methodologies
- Trouble shoots process related issues and participates in activities pertaining to cycle time and process improvements
- Develops and maintains process documentation and reviews various processing methods
- Provides equipment maintenance and repairs as required.
- Senior student seeking BS in Electrical/Industrial/Mechanical Engineering
- Ability to reach electronic drawings/schematics
- Excellent computer skills (MS Office)
- Familiar with process flows and documentation
- Strong trouble-shotting experience
- Enthusiastic about working in a manufacturing environment
- Highly collaborative, creative and excellent communication skills
- Previous manufacturing internship experience a plus!
- Available to start May 27th and work 40 hours/week (in-person) for 10-12 week Summer assignment
- Currently enrolled in 4-year accredited university
- 3.0 minimum GPA
