To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add an SMT Equipment Maintenance Manager located in Guadalajara, North Campus.
Reporting to the Facilities Manager the SMT Equipment Maintenance Manager role directs activities of personnel engaged in the troubleshooting, repairing, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment to attain goals consistent with cost, quality, and delivery requirements.
What a typical day looks like:
- Directs daily department activities to maximize equipment utilization and support production needs.
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies for SMT equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions and failures promptly to minimize production interruptions.
- Establish and oversee a preventive maintenance program to proactively address potential equipment issues and extend the lifespan of machinery.
- Establishes preventative maintenance schedules.
- Forecasts operating costs of the department and directs preparation of budget requests.
- Reviews and establishes material, equipment, and workforce resource requirements.
- Coordinates maintenance activities with other functional groups such as engineering and operations. Selects and develops personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the departmental function.
- Administer safety programs to provide a safe and clean workplace for employees.
- Generates maintenance logs and other operations metrics.-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.
- BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
- Intermediate English.
- Sr experience in a similar position.
- Strong knowledge of SMT processes, equipment, and maintenance practices.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Proficient in troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
