Summary:

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Senior Network Adminlocated in Chennai

What a typical day looks like:
  • Analyze the organization's network and system requirements
  • Research and analyze the network devices, protocols, services, and standards to support network activities
  • Install and maintain network servers and operating systems to ensure backup copies of all files are securely stored at a specific location
  • Troubleshoot problems with network devices and perform updates when required
  • Install, configure, and maintain multi-user software on the servers
  • Administer and maintain end-user accounts, authentication, and permission rights
  • Install, configure, and maintain network communications and other networking devices such as hubs, switches, and UPS
  • Maintain and perform the necessary needs of all network-connected devices
  • Manage security solutions, such as anti-virus, firewall, and intrusion detection systems
  • Install the software, hardware, and other devices to meet the organization's network requirements
  • Guide the System Administrator in the maintenance of the VOIP system
  • Ensure effectiveness of Corporate WAN, LAN, DNS, F5, Cisco Firewalls and Cisco voice services and coordinate with the proper management based on global defined standards.
  • Support and implement short- and long-term strategic plans to make certain network/telecom capacity meets existing and future requirements.
  • Monitor and identify capacity and performance plan for telecom traffic to ensure continued, uninterrupted operation of data and telecom systems Implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and associated training plans for network/telecom resource administration and appropriate use.
  • Responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, access, and backup for enterprise-wide network and voice infrastructure.
  • Work experience with LAN and WAN networks
  • At least two years of experience in troubleshooting the network issues
  • Strong work history in developing and implementing network best practices
  • • Proven work experience in managing the complex network infrastructure
  • • Participate in project-related tasks during any M&A activities, divestitures, and new deployments of sites.
  • Certifications for Network Administrators

    CompTIA Network+ : The CompTIA Network+ certification validates your knowledge of a wide range of networking basics and skills in installing, managing, and troubleshooting networks on various platforms. The certification will help you better understand the latest networking technologies, protocols, DNS concepts, and wireless networks. This certification is best suitable for entry-level Network Administrators.

    Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) : The CCNA certification validates your skills in network solutions, IP addressing, and network fundamentals. This credential will help you get a good understanding of Cisco networks and products.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
  • Typically requires a minimum of 7 years of related experience.
  • Demonstrates advanced functional, technical and people and/or process management skills as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills.
  • Knowledge of business theory, business processes, management, budgeting, and business office operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply IT in solving business problems.
