Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Quality Engineer located in Salt Lake City, UT.

Reporting to the Operations Director, the Production Manager will responsible to quality engineering programs, standards and improvements within the organization.

Shift - Monday through Friday, 8:00AM to 5:00PM or 3:00PM to 11:00PM

What a typical day looks like:
  • Develops and implements standards, methods, and procedures for inspection, testing, and evaluation of product quality and reliability, including the design of sampling procedures and forms for data recording and reporting.
  • Directs and trains personnel in quality control activities, ensuring data integrity and availability, while compiling training materials and conducting sessions on quality standards and practices.
  • Manages the disposition of discrepant materials, initiates corrective action requests, and tracks their completion, while exploring reports and returned products to recommend necessary corrective actions.
  • Establishes and oversees programs to evaluate the precision and accuracy of production equipment, including the development and implementation of quality audits and qualifications for products, processes, and equipment.
  • Acts as a liaison with regulatory bodies and collaborates with Product Engineers and Quality Program Managers on quality-related issues, consolidating and reporting quality results to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
  • Min 5 years' experience as Quality Engineer in engineering in the manufacturing industry
  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • Experience with audits, data collection/analysis, CAPAs, supplier interactions, creating standard methods/procedures, and RCAs, FMA, Control Plan, 8D, Yield interpretation.
  • Advance usage of Microsoft excel
  • Leadership experience
  • Ability to lift up to 10 pounds pull & push up to 40 pounds, ladder use up to 5ft
  • Strong English communication skills verbal and written
