To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Project Manager located in Chennai.
what a typical day looks like:
- Main interface for site GBS Engineering during transition & steady state - "partner management"
- Training & know how transfer from site to GBS Engineering resources - next level.
- Define, prioritize and drive GBS implementation plan in site to reach maximum level site penetration of Services.
- Identification of additional service opportunities with local site management
- Increase service coverage for sites according to the GBS targets.
- Collaboration with regional/ global resources
- Supporting development of other projects
- Define necessary processes related to GBS Services and internal customer requirements.
- Maintain relationship and contacts in Business Units and Sites
- Global Reporting of Status, Progress and Roadmap
- Drive solution of issues according to the Lean Principles
- Support Quality Services to sites
- Bachelor/master's degree in engineering, Component Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 10-15 years relevant working experience in Engineering and/or Quality
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in a technical operations environment.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- PMP Certification preferred.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams across different time zones.
- Domain knowledge in PDM systems/ Component Engineering (as described in "Technical skills")
