Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Production Planning Supervisor located in Guadalajara, North Campus.

Reporting to the Production Planning Manager, this role involves the responsibility to being in charge of helping materials and production functions.

What a typical day looks like:

• Guides order processing activities for major customer units.

• Advises non-exempt associates regarding day-to-day priority of customer requests.

• Serves as advanced interface with customer for escalations of order dedications, order expedites, and problem resolution.

• Monitors and proactively addresses issues that impact performance to dedicated ship date (CSD), turnaround time, reply time, and inventory goals.

• Coordinates and manages high-visibility and/or important customer programs. May include initial customer or product startup initiatives or large customer programs.

• Coordinates with Master Scheduler to manage product life cycle and related materials availability issues.

• Drives process improvements inside and outside the area of Order Management.

• Plans, schedules, coordinates and approves product release to the production planning systems based on material and capacity availability.

• Provides input to management, reschedules, and /or interfaces with customer program management, master scheduling, customers and production control to reschedule production in the event of design changes, labor and material shortages, backlogs, and other potential schedule interruption.

• May also hold up inventory control, supply chain management, material planning, and scheduling

• Manages the activities of his subordinates

•Guides and coordinates the supply of raw materials to the corresponding destinations.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

• BA/BS degree

• NPI experience

• Intermediate english level.

• Experience in similar position in metals/ manufacturing environment.

• Experience within assemblies components.

• Preferrable knowledge in metals.

• Experience in product lifecycle systems (Agile)

• Experience in the use of Floor shop systems.

• Knowledge in reading Bill of Materials (BOMs).

• Knowledge in assembly processes (End to End).

• Experience in BAAN system (SAP).
