To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Product Engineering located in Guadalajara, Juarez south Campus.
Reporting to the Operations Manager the Product Engineering role is responsible for receiving, evaluating, cleaning, and customizing all technical information / documentation from the customer related to their product, derived from a New Product Introduction (NPI) or a design change to establish all necessary processes to manufacture it by maintaining its design and performance integrity.
What a typical day looks like:
- Handle product transfer and new product setup.
- Support production by assessing product engineering issues of diverse scope on the production line.
- Suggest improvements to the process to obtain improved quality and production yield.
- Solve product-related problems and perform failure evaluation related to product issues.
- Interact with customers and various departments on product-related issues.
- Work with the design team to resolve design-related issues.
- Suggest modification to work instructions, material, or product changes to ensure excellent quality of products.
- Customer's Bill of Material (BOM) evaluation and structure definition for production
- Functional Product Documentation review
- Safety Requirements and regulations compliance identification
- Engineering Drawings Interpretation of parts and assemblies.
- Request customer for drawing corrections, additions, clarification, and measurement methods
- Bachelor's Degree (Electronic engineer, mechatronics, or related).
- Sr experience in Product engineering. and programming
- P roduction planning programming
- Experience working in the electronic manufacturing industry.
- Advanced English required.
- Experience with MRP Systems and agile.
- Ability with Floor shop systems.
- Experience in ECO's Follow-up.
- EEPROM/FRASH AND MICROCONTOLLER Knowledge
