Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add Product Engineer located in Austin TX

Reporting to the Operations Engineering Manager . The Product Engineer will be responsible for receiving, analyze, clean, and customize all technical information/documentation from the customer related to his product. Derived from a New Product Introduction (NPI) or a design change to establish all necessary processes to manufacture it by maintaining its design and performance integrity.

What a typical day looks like:
  • Managing product transfers and setups.
  • Resolving engineering issues in production.
  • Proposing quality and yield improvements.
  • Conducting failure analysis and problem-solving.
  • Collaborating on product-related issues with customers and departments.
  • Addressing design challenges with design teams.
  • Modifying documentation and work instructions for quality assurance.
  • Evaluating BOM and reviewing product documentation.
  • Ensuring safety compliance.
  • Interpreting engineering drawings and requesting clarifications.
  • Implementing engineering changes and conducting DFM/DOE analyses.
  • Supporting supply chain integration.
  • Providing training to engineers as it relates to customer specifications
  • Managing golden and engineering samples.
  • Establishing technical information exchange methods.
  • Using CAD systems for part inspection.
  • Evaluating Product Change Notifications and Manufacturing Change Orders.
  • Taking on additional Manufacturing Engineer responsibilities as needed.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in related field or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years' experience
  • Experience in using Computer-aided Design (CAD) system
  • Preferred Experience in Product Change Notification (PCN) and Manufacturing Change Order (MCO)
  • Ready to take on additional responsibilities of the Manufacturing Engineer depending on the size and complexity of the customer product
