Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a/an Process & System Expert located in Salt Lake City, UT.

Reporting to the Materials Planning Manager, the Process & System Expert role involves being responsible for supporting materials and production functions.

What a typical day looks like:
  • Leads test cold room and bone pile activities for major customer units.
  • Syncs up with operations supervisor on the daily customer commit.
  • WO management to ensure the correct materials consumption.
  • Optimizes the logistics of materials.
  • Contributes with status and actions to CFT.
  • Synchronizes server and rack production to achieve SLA.
  • Advises non-exempt associates regarding day-to-day priority of customer requests.
  • Serves as advanced interface with customer for escalations of order commitments, order expedites, and problem resolution.
  • Coordinates and manages high-visibility and/or important customer programs. May include initial customer or product startup initiatives or large customer programs.
  • Coordinates with Master Scheduler to manage product life cycle and related materials availability issues.
  • Plans, schedules, coordinates and approves product release to the production planning systems based on material and capacity availability.
  • Represents Order Management on various Customer Focus Teams.
  • May also support inventory control, supply chain management, material planning, and scheduling.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar position.
  • ERP Experience - BaaN and/or Oracle, SAP.
  • Microsoft knowledge.
  • Planning and production control background.
  • BOM structure knowledge.
  • Ability to speak and understand English.
