Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a/an Process & System Expert located in Salt Lake City, UT.
Reporting to the Materials Planning Manager, the Process & System Expert role involves being responsible for supporting materials and production functions.
What a typical day looks like:
- Leads test cold room and bone pile activities for major customer units.
- Syncs up with operations supervisor on the daily customer commit.
- WO management to ensure the correct materials consumption.
- Optimizes the logistics of materials.
- Contributes with status and actions to CFT.
- Synchronizes server and rack production to achieve SLA.
- Advises non-exempt associates regarding day-to-day priority of customer requests.
- Serves as advanced interface with customer for escalations of order commitments, order expedites, and problem resolution.
- Coordinates and manages high-visibility and/or important customer programs. May include initial customer or product startup initiatives or large customer programs.
- Coordinates with Master Scheduler to manage product life cycle and related materials availability issues.
- Plans, schedules, coordinates and approves product release to the production planning systems based on material and capacity availability.
- Represents Order Management on various Customer Focus Teams.
- May also support inventory control, supply chain management, material planning, and scheduling.
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar position.
- ERP Experience - BaaN and/or Oracle, SAP.
- Microsoft knowledge.
- Planning and production control background.
- BOM structure knowledge.
- Ability to speak and understand English.
