Reporting to the Operation Director , the Operation Manager role involves
What a typical day looks like:
- Manage appropriate staffing and inventory levels
- Oversee the operations to meet corporate KOI
- Supervise production staff on work method and quality checkpoints
- Coordinate with other departments and other sites to drive for excellence
- Coordinate efforts of operations team by establishing procurement, production and engineering services policies and practices
- Ensure ISO and safety standards are adhered to
- Report to leadership team in weekly operations reviews
- Coach and mentor Operations leadership
- Leverage industry practices and apply to internal systems and processes
- Implement appropriate HR strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce
- Bachelor's degree or above
- At least 8 years of experience in operational engineering management of EMS industry or automotive electronics industry.
- With extensive experience in project management and team management
- Familiarity with operational engineering processes and good project management skills
- Proficient in operation and testing skills of various automotive electronic systems
- Good communication skills and teamwork spirit, with good coordination and organization skills
- Able to work under conditions of heavy pressure and time constraint.
