Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, this Summer, we're looking to add a Materials Science Engineering Intern located in our Austin, TX site.

Reporting to the Process Engineering Manager, the student will assist with daily engineering tasks while learning, collaborating and working alongside Engineers and cross-functional teams.
What a typical day looks like:
- Position concentrates on activities in the Material Characterization Lab
- Participate in activities pertaining to process improvements and materials
- Assist with the analysis of statistical process analysis on new and existing products and improvement of manufacturing safety, productivity, and yield improvements
- Provide continuous development of manufacturing techniques that will improve in-house capabilities
- Develop and maintain process documentation
- Make recommendation on cost improvement and reduction programs
- Jr/Sr student pursuing Material Science & Engineering Bachelor degree
- Highly collaborative, creative, and excellent communication skills
- Previous internship experience, a plus!
- Available to start on May 27th and work 40 hours/week (in-person) for 10-12 week Summer assignment
- Currently enrolled in 4-year accredited university
- 3.0 minimum GPA
