We are looking for a new Materials Analyst colleague to be based in Warrington .
What a typical day looks like:
- Control stock levels in relation to product support lifecycles
- Minimize "stock outs" to meet customer performance delivery targets
- Manage and minimize excess stock to target levels by identifying and managing the safety stock levels for each commodity
- Select best method of forecasting and recommend purchases to achieve optimum inventory levels
- Issue, monitor and report accuracy for vendor forecasts
- Identify and report both internally and externally risk associated with product portfolio.
- At least GCSE level qualification
- Some experience working in a planning role and in the usage of forecasting systems, such as Xelus or Kinaxis
- A good understanding of business processes particularly relating to service parts planning, supply chain optimisation, repair operations and reverse logistics
- High level of IT literacy including advanced Excel skills
- Excellent communication skills & good eye for detail to ensure data accuracy
- Eligibility to work in the UK
