To Support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Manager - Legal based in Chennai.

This is for a Legal team, and we are looking for the incumbent who has knowledge in Contracts and Contract Management - Commercial / Procurement Agreements. Abstraction of Business and Legal terms, Loading, Validating, getting Approvals, Segment alignment and has agility in communicating with Business periodically.

What a typical day looks like:
  • Drive the contracting process from initial request through completion Oversee maintenance of necessary data in Contract Management Systems. Issue, upload, and maintain contracts, contract renewals or amendments and other related documents per policy and procedure.
  • Manage the workflow of preparing contracts, agreements, and other legal documents on behalf of the business Identify and notify immediately of any contractual risk issues or exposure that arise.
  • Draft, structure, implement and manage contractual documents based on internal processes to establish and maintain good business relationships with customers.
  • Perform due diligence reviews on new business opportunities and conduct risk assessments and risk mitigation approaches on terms and conditions.
  • Advise management of contractual obligations and rights to mitigate risk and protect company business interests.
  • Support new business pursuits and existing contracts.
  • Support development of and conduct contracts training
  • Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Maintain strong analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Develop contracting templates for standard agreements and other compliance tools.
  • Provide advice to business partners and others within the company related to signed agreements.
  • Work with the company's Business and Legal team as necessary to review contract terms and conditions and advise business partners to reach acceptable outcomes.
The Experience we're looking to add to the Team:
  • Degree in Law.
  • 12+ years of professional experience in contract management/contract reviews and should have led a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills (proficient in English), both in written and verbally.
  • Strong team player, resourceful and able to initiate and direct collaborative efforts with all stakeholders (internal and external);
  • A "hands on" individual who is prepared to "roll up his/her sleeve" to get work done and work to accommodate international time zones.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail
  • Strong overall computer skills, and proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Independently apply Organizations' specific contract management tools and other technologies to support/manage processes.
  • Organized, able to multi-task and prioritize, and work well under pressure in an intensely timeline-oriented and multi-cultural team environment.
  • Strict compliance with applicable laws, company policies and highest standards of professional integrity and ethics
  • Knowledge / working experience on Legal spend.
