Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Manager, Corporate Accounting located in Austin, TX.

Reporting to the Senior Accounting Manager the Corporate Accounting Manager role will be responsible for establishing operational objectives and managing financial accounting and control.

What a typical day looks like:
  • Lead the consolidation accounting process to ensure accurate and timely month-end/quarter-end close from Total Flex perspective.
  • Acts as primary liaison of the consolidation team and communicate with all regions, completing accounting consultations and supporting corporate sites.
  • Lead Corporate Accounting team for annual impairment testing of Fixed Assets, quarterly review of press release and related documents.
  • Be a partner in maintaining SOX controls around consolidation processes, working closely with our SOX compliance and global accounting teams.
  • Develop and manage strong, collaborative relationships with peers in finance and business partners across the organization to understand the business and apply that knowledge to the financial statements and reporting.
  • Assist in the training and dissemination of new accounting guidance and policies and support the sites with implementation.
  • Build strong relationship and lead communications with FP&A, Investor Relations, Auditors, and IT Finance, and external third-party accounting service providers.
  • Leads projects as directed by line manager, VP controller or CAO
  • Lead, motivate and develop Senior Accountant in the team.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field or equivalent experience and training.
  • Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience.
  • Masters Business Administration (MBA) or a Master of Science and Accounting (MSA) preferred
