We are looking for a new IT Applications Support and Solutions Analyst employee to be based in Warrington.

Summary:

As a member of the IT Support Team you will be required to monitor, analyse and resolve EDI errors between key IT systems, both a2a and b2b. Using Service Now, you will manage support incidents through to resolution, highlighting user error and training issues. You will identify any recurring issues and perform diagnosis before proposing a long-term solution. You will also be required to work alongside the IT Development Team to implement bug fixes / solutions.

As a key user within the IT Department you will work alongside Project Teams to design, test, implement and support Customer onboardings and enhancements. You will ensure that the relevant systems monitoring procedures are in place allowing us to have end to end visibility.

What a typical day looks like:
  • Support daily monitoring of the Flex suite of applications. Ensure all scheduled jobs/applications are functioning correctly.
  • Investigate and resolve any IT Support tickets logged by the Business via Service Now, endeavouring to meet the teams Service Level Agreements understanding the importance of good customer service.
  • Liaise with Global Application Support towers to resolve any incidents that require a higher level of support.
  • Work with Local and Global Project Teams to design, test, implement and support Customer onboardings and enhancements.
  • Trouble-shoot complex/erroneous IT issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
  • Ensure working instructions are up to date and creating new ones as applicable on the IT Wiki and also that all Flex IT policies are adhered to and audit compliances are met as required.
  • Produce thorough documentation for all IT solutions for use in support handovers to local and Global IT Support Teams
  • Coordinate and transition support of new solutions to Local and Global Application Support Teams.
The experience/q ualification we are looking to add to the team:
  • IT related A Level qualification
  • Some proven work experience in an IT Support role with experience in an SQL/Oracle server environment as SQL querying skills are essential.
  • MS SQL querying / debugging / programming skills - Stored procedures, functions, triggers, SSIS packages
  • Excellent problem-solving & interpersonal skills
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions and also to read, analyse, and interpret the most complex technical documents & specifications.
  • Demonstrates advanced functional, technical and process management + teaching/ leading and/or mentoring skills
  • ERP support experience
  • Eligible to work in the UK.
Desired:
  • Red Prairie or Baan V ERP or webMethods or CRM/Salesforce support experience
  • MES / FlexFlow support experience
