Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add an Information Technology Manager (m/f/d) located in Stuttgart, Germany.

Reporting to the Sr Director, Information Technology, the Information Technology Manager (m/f/d) will be in charge of leading the local IT Operations Team, Global Projects and responsible of managing a variety of other IT activities.

What a typical day looks like:
  • Lead a functional IT Operations Team, collaborate with different departments and teach, coach and guide various stakeholders (team members, users, e.g.);
  • Be the Project Manager complicated area-covering projects and collaborate within global projects;
  • Demonstrate capabilities in leading major initiatives within Business Unit or region;
  • Communicate with business partners related to projects and daily IT operations;
  • Collaborate with Customers within technical projects or daily tasks;
  • Technical and process related responsibilities including in a very complex functional/ technical area or broad breadth of knowledge in multiple areas, understand the strategic impact of the function across sites and apply strong problem solving skills;
  • Reading and creating technical documentation and standards, policies and procedures;
  • Implementation of new systems;
  • Administration of site IT infrastructure;
  • Define IT strategy for the site considering global standards.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
  • Completed degree in IT, computer science or comparable qualification with professional experience in a multinational Matrix manufacturing organization;
  • In-depth knowledge of network architectures and protocols (Cisco);
  • Knowledge of cyber security, especially for Automotive, including TISAX standards;
  • Experience with server and storage technologies (VMware);
  • Knowledge of ERP and PLM systems, Configuration, Network, Business Systems;
  • Scripting skills (e.g. Python, PowerShell);
  • Leadership and Project Management experience with excellent communication and interpersonal skills in fluent English and German.
