Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add an HR Generalist located in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Reporting to the HR Business Partner, the HR Generalist's role involves providing support to the business clients and the Site HRBP to include all Flex HR related activities in order to support the growth and profitability of the organization.
What a typical day looks like:
- Oversee and coordinate the employee onboarding and orientation processes, utilizing HR resources to ensure a seamless experience that aligns with Flex's goals and culture.
- Ensure consistent application of Flex policies and procedures while fostering positive relationships across all employee levels.
- Counsel management on policy interpretation, investigate employee relations issues, and assist in the documentation of disciplinary procedures.
- Prepare employee separation notices, conduct exit interviews, and represent the organization at unemployment hearings as needed.
- Administer performance appraisal and compensation programs, ensuring compliance and equity, while promoting employee recognition initiatives.
- Collaborate with corporate HR COE teams to communicate corporate programs, policies, and initiatives effectively to all employees.
- Coordinate training requirements, including management, safety, and Code of Conduct, while advocating for employees and addressing workplace concerns.
- Provide guidance and resources for employees to access the GBS HR Help Desk and assist in training managers on new HR programs and processes.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in HR-related education/experience, demonstrating advanced skills in HR functions.
- 3-5 years of work experience in HR, with in-depth knowledge of HR practices and the Flex business.
- Experience in employee relations, manager coaching, and counseling.
- Proficient in onboarding and orientation processes.
- Skilled in working with contingent agencies and Microsoft Office.
- Bilingual in Spanish/English, with experience in a manufacturing environment and strong communication skills.
