To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Global Program Manager . The Global Program Manager will be based in Guadalajara, South Site.

As the President of the program, the GPM ensures there is appropriate interface with the Customer and the Flex cross functional departments (Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, etc); focuses on tactical execution of the program schedule/plan, continues to monitor, and reduce program risk and maximizing program profitability. Fosters the strategic relationship between Flex and the Customer.

What a typical day looks like:
  • Develop program timing plan, schedule, that meets customer and Flex program milestones.
  • Ensure program resources are in place and track according to the quoted resource plan.
  • Manage program team meeting s to drive program deliverables and launch execution.
  • Schedule and lead F inancial G ate R eview (FGR) meetings.
  • Report program status at specified meetings.
  • Maintain SHIELD ProVx, ensure program timing, issues and commentary are regularly updated.
  • Drive escalation process on program launch issues/risks.
  • Program budget management (ED&T, CapEx, Customer Funded Tooling, Launch Costs, CBOM ).
  • Program OP management - Conduct FGRs at specified gates (QvA).
  • Lead the team in identifying VAVE and OP improvement ideas/opportunities.
  • Drive program cost reduction/OP, VAVE improvement opportunities utilizing AUTCR process.
  • Manage all engineering changes (AUTCR /DEV ) for program in Agile , pre-SOP.
  • Ensure changes are quoted to the customer with the goal of OP improvement.
Experience we're looking to add to our team:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrates advanced operations, technical and people and/or process skills as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of multiple functional technologies/ processes, industries or functions and understanding of interdependencies of such processes at the site.
  • Accountability for the program wellness.
  • Demonstrates expert knowledge of the function and a thorough understanding of Flex and related business.
  • Demonstrates detailed expertise in very complex functional/ technical area or broad breadth of knowledge in multiple areas.
  • Understands the strategic impact of the function across sites.
  • Demonstrates mastery of functional knowledge in relation to other functions and a complete understanding of the function and those of related businesses relationship skills.
