Job summary:

As an operations excellence manager you are responsible to support to establish the flex future factory operating systems in relation to Process/Quality/Equipment/MES engineering and operations management. Identify the operations KOIs which are relevant for flex future factory operating system. Standardize the definition and calculations of these KOIs in structured way so, that it will be used for a review process in the sites. Create policies to implement these KOIs across flex sites which will include naming standards, process steps to be included and how data maintenance to be performed and how compliance to these polices will be measured.

Implement these polices in the sites, ensure compliance and work with flex operations teams to drive these process and policies along with KOI improvement.

What a typical day looks like:
  • Support the establishment of the flex future factory operating systems in relation to Process/Quality/Equipment/MES engineering and operations management.
  • Support technical/engineering departments and translating requirements to and from internal operations environment to executive Flex Future Factory Leaders.
  • Identify Operations KOIs that are relevant for the flex future factory operating system and it's integration worldwide
  • Standardize the definition and calculations of these KOIs in a structured methodology for its deployment worldwide.
  • Create policies to implement these KOIs across flex sites, including naming standards, process steps, data maintenance, and compliance measurement.
  • Implement these policies in the sites, ensuring compliance.
  • Work among Flex Operations SME's and others to prepare training material for better understanding of these KOIs and their implementation procedures in multiple languages.
  • Define roles and responsibilities of operations people at site, global and regional levels from the point of view of KOIs.
  • Support and drive policies and guidelines to set targets for KOIs per site, global, regional levels.
  • Formulate standards reports, presentations to management as required.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between the operations and IT teams to ensure that operational requirements are accurately translated into IT development.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
  • Typically requires a bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience and training plus a minimum of 8 years of in operations with operations management experience. A master's or MBA degree is preferred. Experience in global/regional role preferred, including global deployment/implementations.
  • Demonstrated program experience in a multinational manufacturing environment.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong positive attitude and a collaborative spirit.
  • Proficient in English and Chinese
  • Ability to work across different time zones and travel as required by job responsibilities.
