Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a/an Field Service Contact Coordinator ( Henrico VA).

Reporting to the Director, Field Applications the Field Service Contact Coordinator ( Henrico VA) is responsible for coordinating, planning, and scheduling field service Technicians and Field Support groups as we design, assemble, install, and service power distribution equipment in compliance with applicable standards. Responsible for contract development, proposals layout, tracking of contracted customers, and support of contacts.

What a typical day looks like:
  • Works directly with Project Managers to plans, direct, and coordinate the activities of field services to continually improve operational planning and processes to install and service electrical distribution equipment in accordance with cost, quality, safety, and quantity specifications. May require responding to issues during non-work hours on weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
  • Plans and establish work schedules, assignments, establishes scopes, and priorities to meet goals and to improve department efficiency and utilization.
  • Works with Field Personnel in getting updated startup reports and field service work orders for all scheduled activities.
  • Collaborate with other departments in resolving issues that may impact the Field Service Group.
  • Collaboration can include but not limited to in getting MOP's, drawings, materials, and technical support.
  • Responsible for ensuring adherence to all corporate guidelines and site requirements for field activities.
  • Work with our suppliers to ensure conformity to our technical/system standards as needed.
  • Ensures assigned employees adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations and perform work practices that are safe and in a clean work environment.
  • Attend customer scheduling meetings to ensure support is provided for installed equipment
  • This can be coordinated with project managers for coverage.
  • Working with documentation groups on contract layouts and maintenance items.
  • Managing and tracking contracts related to Anord Mardix products.
  • Additional duties as required.
The experience we're looking to add to our team,
  • A business degree is preferred or related field and the equivalent of 3 - 5 years' experience working in power distribution industry and/or service environment with demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in engineering operations or High School Education or GED and equivalent of 5 - 8 years of practical work experience. Power distribution experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of principles and process for providing support and direction to our customers and field personnel.
  • Basic Technical knowledge and understanding of power distribution equipment and related standards.
  • Familiarity with the development and implementation of work instructions.
  • A clear focus, understanding and desire to drive improvement across Safety, Quality and Production.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively overcome objections and communicate with people at all levels.
  • Good computer skills, to include Microsoft Office Suite, etc.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to work on own initiative, problem solve and present potential solutions.
  • Ability to maintain a tactful, orderly working relationship with others
