To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to hire Director - IT who is based out of in Chennai location.

Reporting to Senior Director & the role involves,

What a typical day looks like:
  • Be responsible for collaborating with business-unit management, Procurement & Supply Chain Business teams s, all technology areas of the IT Department, and outside consultants to assess feasibility, determine costs versus benefits, prioritize projects, develop and implement systems plans, and provide on going support to address the information requirements of the business and adhere to established strategic business and systems objectives.
  • Develops plans for systems development and operations, hardware and software purchases, budget and staffing.
  • Develop cost-effective information technology solutions by creating new and modifying existing software applications that are more complex with full competency.
  • Oversees the development, implementation, installation and operation of information and functional systems for the organization.
  • Monitors management information systems policies and controls to ensure data accuracy, security and legal and regulatory compliance.
  • Interact internally and externally with executive level management, requiring negotiation of extremely critical matters and manage business stakeholders.
  • Direct and control the activities of one or more functional areas, divisions, product groups or service areas through senior managers who have overall responsibility for the successful operation of those assigned areas.
  • Implement appropriate HR strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce.
  • Plan and direct the activities of one or more Managers/Leads and their direct reports.
  • Manage a technology area whose members closely collaborate with their customer in examining solution options and are responsible for planning and managing multiple application systems development, maintenance, and enhancement projects utilizing computing architecture platforms.
  • Provide direction for the development and utilization of assigned resources.
  • Minimize investment and maximize value of the available resources of the business unit at all levels.
  • Make final decisions on administrative or operational matters and ensure operations' effective achievement of objectives.
  • Approve system development cost estimates, budgets, and schedules.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
  • Any bachelor's or Master's degree.
  • 18+ years of overall experience with minimum of 10 years of experience in information systems, including management.
  • APICS / ASCM Certifications, Specialization in Supply Chain .
  • Proven experience with functional, technical and people and/or process management skills as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills.
  • Detailed expertise in very complex functional/technical area or broad breadth of knowledge in supply chain areas; understands the strategic impact of the function across worldwide sites.
  • Proven experience with modern digital technologies: Cloud, RPA, ML/IA
  • Strong problem solving with proven ability to handle multiple stakeholder groups, data driven decision making ability.
