Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Data Analyst located in Salt Lake City, UT.
Reporting to the Operations Director, the Data Analyst will be responsible for providing expertise to acquire, manage, manipulate, and evaluate data and report results, and escalating data integrity issues.
What a typical day looks like:
- Identify and resolve data issues through research and evaluation of systems for patient data management, ensuring accurate reporting of duplicates and errors, monitoring timely completion of data elements, interpreting trends in complex datasets, and reviewing data dictionary statistics.
- Develop and maintain databases for projects and department functions, acquire and abstract data from internal or external sources, implement data collection systems to enhance statistical efficiency and quality, and perform data entry as needed.
- Interpret data to make recommendations, develop graphs and reports of project results, conduct basic statistical analyses, create quality dashboards, and generate regular and ad hoc reports.
- Evaluate incoming departmental data, build understandable reports for management, coordinate daily data collection across departments, utilize company-provided statistics and programs, collaborate with senior management on solutions, design efficient data collection methods, ensure data accuracy, and possess strong numerical skills for complex algorithms.
- 1-4 years of experience in data models and database design development.
- Understanding of XML and SQL.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
- Adept at queries and report writing.
- Ability to present complex information in an understandable and compelling manner.
