In our Design Center in Budapest, our team creates technologies for the Automotive Market. Our portfolio includes High and Low voltage DC/DC Converters, Inverters, Battery management systems, Recuperation modules, Overhead Consoles, Smart Control Units as well as internal and external lighting applications.

For our Design Center team, we are currently looking for a

Control Software Architect (m/f/d).

What a typical day looks like:
  • Work together with the core development team on bleeding edge technology towards top-of-the-line high voltage power electronics products.
  • Model the DC/DC and AC/DC stages in Matlab/Simulink/Simscape as a foundation for development of advanced control algorithms.
  • Design and evaluate advanced control algorithms in Matlab/Simulink/Simscape and support deployment on real hardware.
  • Drive and support documentation and traceability of software requirements, architecture designs and detailed designs.
  • Use GIT, Lauterbach Trace32, Polarion, Jira, Vector CANoe/CANape/vFlash, Oscilloscopes
  • Support development of embedded software and system level testing strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with hardware, software and system design teams.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
  • University degree - preferably computer science, electronics or similar
  • Demonstrated experience as a software developer for embedded systems in the automotive industry, preferably in high voltage applications.
  • Fluent English knowledge both in written and spoken form, German is a plus
  • Strong technical understanding and analytical skills (systematic approach, recognize dependencies, weaknesses and risks)
We consider the following experiences as a plus:
  • Knowledge of Hardware development
  • Low level programming of microcontrollers such as PowerPC architecture
  • Functional safety according to ISO 26262
  • Software development processes such as Automotive SPICE
  • Drivers for serial communication (SPI, UART, I²C)
  • Experience developing basis software (HAL and driver layers) for new MCUs from scratch based on reference manuals and datasheets
