To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add an Automation Engineer located in Guadalajara, North .

Reporting to the Automation Director, Automation Engineer will be overseeing to lead and drive regional-specific activities on Growth and Productivity. This role entails identifying and procuring new technologies that align with the company operational needs. Additionally, the candidate will be tasked to evaluate the technologies and promote their utilization in the company.

What a typical day looks like:
  • Develop strategies for new technologies adoption according to operation needs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and define solutions/ technologies that meet operational needs.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of existing processes and recommend improvements through automation technologies.
  • Collaborate with site teams to drive and deploy automation opportunities for activities on growth and productivity.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, advising the organization on potential applications and benefits.
  • Collaborate with Procurement team to develop technologies suppliers and supervise their proliferations
  • Develop strategies for key automation technology suppliers to accelerate the correct deployment and automation penetration across the region
  • Develop and deliver training programs for staff on new automation systems and processes to ensure effective implementation.
  • Evaluate and select automation tools, software, and hardware based on operational requirements and budget considerations.
  • Prepare documentation, including technical specifications, design diagrams, and user manuals for implemented solutions.
  • Support project management efforts by leading automation projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
  • BA/BS or equivalent work experience
  • Advanced proficiency in English.
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles and automation technologies.
  • Knowledge in supplier development
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment, with a solid understanding of industry operations.
  • Basic familiarity with warehouse automation and assembly line processes.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing a project, even without formal project management certification.
