We're looking for a Compliance Risk Specialist to help us accomplish our mission to improve and extend lives by learning from the experience of every person with cancer. Are you ready to be the next changemaker in cancer care?
What You'll Do
As a member of the compliance and privacy team, you will provide support and guidance to cross-functional stakeholders as well as perform delegated aspects of the core compliance program to identify and manage risk. You will also:
- Manage Flatiron's third party risk assessment process; including, due diligence reviews, monitoring of third parties to confirm alignment with compliance requirements, draft processes and training
- Manage assigned enterprise projects through partnership with key stakeholders on the compliance and privacy team, as well as the business
- Support compliance audit and review activities
- Manage corporate compliance training activities
- Support the maintenance of processes and playbooks or other documentation related to compliance initiatives
- Serve as an advisor and internal consultant on issues, project plans or any other initiative that may have compliance implications
- Manage tools and resources that streamline compliance operations, such as project management and communication platforms (e.g., Navex RiskRate and LMS platforms)
- Perform risk based analysis on proposed projects, vendors, and issue resolution

Who You Are
You're a kind, passionate and collaborative problem-solver who values the opportunity to think beyond the way things are. In addition, you're a self-starter with 2 years of experience managing compliance risks within a dynamic enterprise.
- You have 2+ years experience supporting a compliance risk management program
- You are able to manage risks and projects effectively in a fast-paced environment
- You have excellent interpersonal, writing and communication skills to convey risk effectively to the compliance team and internal stakeholders
- You have superior organizational skills and attention to detail
- You are flexible and able to prioritize and adapt in ambiguous situations
- You are passionate about healthcare and the fight against cancer
- You are eager to apply your skills to enhance compliance in innovative ways
Extra credit
- You have experience working in a healthcare environment with knowledge and understanding of HIPAA, GDPR requirements
- You have systems experience (Navex, Workday)
- You have project management credentials and experience with data analysis
