About the Position
The Analyst will report to our Managing Director for Global Healthcare and will be part of the overall APAC healthcare team. The analyst will support provide materials for several topics relating to Japan and South Korea. The Analyst will have the opportunity to participate in virtual calls and live meetings with clients. The work will focus on analyzing national and local level healthcare policies, including budgets and laws/regulations impacting access and reimbursement. Please note this is a 6 month contracted position with potential for a 6 month renewal.

About FrontierView’s Global Research Team
The contractor will be part of FrontierView’s global research team. The global research team produces all syndicated content for FrontierView’s client base of several thousand senior executives at multinational organizations. The team combines regional knowledge, macroeconomic and political insights, and business acumen to provide impactful analysis, forecasts, and executional advice for a senior executive audience. They work in close collaboration with the commercial team in supporting FrontierView’s growth strategy and ongoing client relationships.
About You
We’re looking for a entry level professional (recent graduate from undergrad or graduate degree program) with strong qualitative and quantitative skills, and an interest in learning more about the healthcare dynamics of Japan and South Korea’s healthcare systems. Strong research skills, independence, and ability to prioritize tasks will be key for this role.
What To Expect in This Position
- Monitoring and analyzing healthcare system trends
- Collecting and organizing news, analysis, and data relating to Japan and South Korea’s healthcare systems
- Writing research deliverables that are concise and impactful for a senior executive audience
What Sets You Apart
- No prior experience with the healthcare sector is required, but preference will be given to people with an interest in learning about the healthcare sector
- Undergraduate degree in International Relations, Business Administration, Economics, other related areas
- Fluency in Korean and or Japanese, plus English is required
- Demonstrated knowledge of Japan and South Korea
- Experience with Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Knowledge of macroeconomic fundamentals
- Strong research capabilities
- Good communication, organization, discipline, sense of urgency and commitment
