We are seeking an ambitious person with an exceptional aptitude for learning to perform as a Loan Associate and to participate in our Professional Development Program (PDP). The First Western PDP gives entry-level or career-changing professionals with little or no experience in banking the opportunity to get hired into fulltime, salaried positions while participating in enriching professional development activities. The PDP includes job rotations, mentoring experiences, special projects, and accelerated trainings. This unique opening gives a driven professional a broad-based understanding of the company and exposure to a variety of colleagues and leaders. PDP associates are offered clear pathways to advancement, can develop a wide range of talents and skills, and are given the chance to grow significantly in a short period of time.
Pay Range: $25.48 - $28.01 an hour
Classification: Full-time, Non-Exempt

Job Responsibilities:
- Reviews and helps maintain market investment accounts
- Supports portfolio manager (PM) with various portfolio tasks
- Engages with clients to ensure requests are completed in a timely manner
- Interacts with Operations on all account maintenance activities
- Supports other profit centers (PCs) and clients as needed
- Prepares presentations for client and prospect meetings
- Focuses on mastering proficiency in relevant systems
- Attains professional credential, as agreed to with Portfolio Manager
- Participates fully in PDP activities like mentoring, job rotations, trainings, and a special project
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree, min. 3.0 GPA, all degrees considered
- No banking experience required but must have strong interest in working with numbers, banking, finance, or data analysis
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Proactive, takes initiative, and follows through
- Ability to work well independently and with a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and multitask
- High aptitude for learning; coachable; entrepreneurial; self-starting
- Has a track record of being motivated, hard-working, and engaged
