This is a remote role that may only be hired in the following location: NJ, FL, NH, NC
This position provides specialized technical leadership during the architecture, design, implementation, and support of assigned systems and applications. The Technical Lead will be responsible for driving successful project execution, ensuring system stability, and managing critical development activities while aligning with business objectives. This role requires a proactive approach to risk management, security, and process optimization while fostering cross-functional collaboration.

- Leads specialized technical projects, including planning, time estimation, and risk mitigation.
- Serves as the primary liaison for the application development team, coordinating issue resolution and support with key IT departments, including Information Security, Data Management, Change Management, and IAM.
- Ensures smooth execution of monthly sprint releases while maintaining system stability.
- Designs and implements monitoring tools like dashboards for management.
- Executes strategic plans to optimize development environments, minimizing disruption to ongoing projects.
- Provides management insights to align technology strategies with business needs.
- Facilitates system modifications or architectural changes to enhance efficiency and operational effectiveness.
- Leads and executes vendor onboarding processes to streamline integration and optimize workflows.
- Establishes interim development environments for data migration efforts to maintain continuity.
- Identifies, escalates, and mitigates risks effectively to ensure project success.
- Ensures compliance with security and governance processes by securing necessary approvals from Architectural Forums, information Security, and Vendor Management.
- Contributes to enterprise-level initiatives, securing required design approvals in line with the organization's SDLC process.
- Maintains a strong knowledge of technologies, processes, and industry standards.
- Serves as a subject matter expert in key technologies and development best practices.
- Leads efforts to safeguard system integrity by proactively identifying and addressing security concerns.
- Works collaboratively with leadership, cross-functional teams, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of experience in Technical work in Application Development, Server Administration, Information Security, or Engineering OR High School Diploma or GED and 12 years of experience in Technical work in Application Development, Server Administration, Information Security, or Engineering
Preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science
- Expertise in Salesforce, MS.NET, ASP.NET, Jira, or Azure DevOps.
- SCRUM master certification
- Background in working with large financial institutions
- Experience in project management and technical leadership
- Advanced knowledge of modern technologies, SDLC best practices, and process optimization.
- Strong risk identification and mitigation skills.
- Proven ability to lead complex, multi-layered projects while ensuring security and compliance.
