Overview
Responsible for planning and project management, complex problem resolution, and advanced production support for the Bank's systems infrastructure. Provide expert guidance and mentorship on system technical support, maintenance, and enhancement. Lead the administration of software and hardware that supports customer sales and service applications. Installs, automates, and tests infrastructures for continuous improvement. Monitor overall systems performance to identify potential issues and tune appropriately. Address failed components or technical issues and provides resolution. Mentor less experienced associates and serves as a technical resource to the wider business unit. Administer 3rd party software and applications that support the Mortgage Lending Division. Serve as a subject matter expert and technical resource to wider business unit. Serve as a system administrator for Encompass Loan Origination System and other 3rd party applications that support the Origination life cycle. Responsible for system configuration, end user support, maintenance and enhancements of Encompass and integrated applications like Velocify, Optimal Blue, Consumer Connect and TPO Connect. Responsible for ensuring that any changes to the Encompass forms, Business Rules and 3rd party integrations are in accordance with recommended good practices including ease of maintenance and high level of application performance and availability. Responsible for maintaining multiple Encompass environments and keeping them updated and synchronized. Support projects and enhancements from requirements gathering and documentation, to system configuration, unit testing, user acceptance testing (UAT) and rollout. Responsible for regular review of knowledge documentation, release notes, disaster recovery plans for applications supported. Work with developers and vendors to build custom solutions using vendor API's. Responsible for regular Access & Entitlement Reviews for applications supported. May work remotely pursuant to First Citizens' Remote Work Guidelines policy.

The base pay for this position is relative to your experience but the range is generally $151,986 - $181,986 per year. The position is eligible for variable compensation, which may be in the form of incentive, bonus, or commission pay. Qualifications
Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Applications, or other related field plus six (6) years of experience in the job offered or six (6) years of experience as a Testing Analyst, Product Specialist, or a related occupation. Alternatively, the employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Applications or other related field and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or four (4) years as a Testing Analyst, Product Specialist, or a related occupation.
Requires domain knowledge of the Mortgage Origination. Requires hands-on experience in configuring Encompass and related systems like TPO Connect and Consumer Connect. Requires experience with pricing engines like Optimal Blue. Requires extensive experience in Encompass Administration. Requires experience with a typical Mortgage Origination workflow. Requires experience in ground up encompass installation and configuration. Requires experience in Encompass configurations for Retail, Correspondent and Wholesale channels. Requires experience in configuring different types of connections integrations with 3rd party service providers from within Encompass. Requires experience with configuring Milestones and Personas, building custom input forms, reports, dashboards, views and advanced business rules. Requires knowledge of 3rd party plug-ins and Encompass SDK/API. Requires strong quality assurance (QA) skills and the ability to setup test plans, test scenarios and conduct test execution.
