Overview
This position supervises the work of a team responsible for processing mortgage loan packages. Monitors pipeline efficiencies and develops process enhancements ensuring continuous service and quality improvements. Provides guidance, feedback, and direction on complex matters through expertise and oversight of daily workflow.
Responsibilities
- Supervisory Functions - Leads work efforts for accuracy, process improvements, and efficiencies. Ensures compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations. Assists in the training, performance, and development of assigned staff. Fosters diversity, inclusion, and related talent development objectives.
- Pipeline Management - Manages the mortgage processing pipeline to include initial file reviews, monitoring workflow items, and communications of loan status. Reviews investor-required documentation in mortgage loans and monthly reporting. Directs associates to meet or exceed service levels, quality standards, compliance, and customer expectations.
- Policy Resource - Assists with development of mortgage processing policies and procedures that ensure efficiency and minimize errors. Remains abreast of industry regulations and informs associates of relevant policy changes.
- Coordination - Coordinates regularly with mortgage processing, underwriting, and closing departments. Assists management with implementing process improvements across all mortgage functions. May assist in coordination of projects or resources.

Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Mortgage Processing OR High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Mortgage Processing
