Overview
This position leads the daily activities of a team and provides support to commercial and business lending activities of the Bank. Provides guidance to associates on commercial and business processes, training on related software, and directs team members on credit analysis.
Responsibilities
Credit Operations Oversight - Manages and coordinates the planning and scheduling of activities within the team and coordinates those activities with other functional areas and partners. Monitors departmental reporting to ensure accurate and timely completion of staff assignments.
Business Support - Makes credit recommendations and decisions. Provides training and guidance on the credit analysis process to team members, bankers, and other associates. Resolves problems and accommodates special situations as necessary.

Compliance - Keeps current on State and Federal regulations, statutes, and requirements with respect to Credit. Maintains knowledge of lending products offered by the Bank as well as knowledge of the industry or market areas served. Ensures that department practices comply with bank policies and procedures and regulatory and banking industry standards.
Supervisory Functions - Oversees the activities of a team supporting commercial and business lending activities. Assesses work of associates for accuracy, process improvements, and efficiencies. Ensures compliance with department policies and procedures. Manages the performance of assigned staff, which may include mentorship, training, and staff evaluations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Credit Administration or Lending

High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Credit Administration or Lending
Additional Requirements:
Advanced verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Advanced commercial credit underwriting experience, inclusive of complex credit structures
Proven leadership and partnership capabilities
Preferred Qualifications:
Portfolio management experience
Vendor credit risk experience
Experience reviewing external commercial bureau reports
