The Senior Learning & Talent Development Facilitator is responsible for the facilitation of Learning & Talent Development (L&TD) courses that contain multiple disciplines, have a complex scope, and span multiple Bank locations. Responsible for facilitating regional, corporate, and support staff management and leadership programs, including programs that require vendor certification. Leads the content, materials, and success of core and custom workshops. Participates in the design and creation of learning solutions. Implements industry techniques and methods for expert facilitation and alignment with Bank strategies. Provides leadership for work group, and mentors less experienced associates on effective classroom and virtual delivery.

Responsibilities
- Facilitation - Leads the successful execution of classes for multiple lines of business, including core and custom workshops in high-impact areas. Identifies process inefficiencies and recommends enhancements to L&TD offerings. Attends training webinars and workshops to apply facilitation techniques.
- Course Management - Leverages learning management system reporting to monitor associate enrollment and feedback for high-impact courses. Orders materials, assigns external work, and prepares classroom for in-person delivery. Reviews learning content and recommends edits when necessary.
- Program Development - Drives evolution of L&TD programs by seeking out new knowledge on learning solution design and industry class concepts. Assists in program evaluation, including assessment of processes and results, to enable strategic alignment with Bank goals and objectives.
- Subject Expertise - Serves as subject matter expert on facilitation, delivery methods, and learning methods in the design and creation of learning solutions. Participates in the creation and maintenance of core curriculum learning plans and resources. Supports specialized workshops and forums.
- Team Leadership - Mentors and trains junior team members. Utilizes expertise to provide guidance, feedback, and direction on complex matters. Assists in the communication of performance results and expected behaviors for success.
Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Training or Facilitation OR High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Training or Facilitation
License or Certification Type: American Society for Training & Development (ASTD) Trainer Certification required within 1 year of hire or placement date required
Preferred Areas of Experience:
- Current contractor/contingent worker for First Citizens Bank
- In-person and virtual facilitation experience, preferably within First Citizens Bank
- Business credit skills within a large financial institution
- Public speaking experience
- Experience using CapitalStream and/or nCino
- Business sales or underwriting experience
- Knowledge of retail lending processes
- Knowledge of Cornerstone's Learning Management System (LMS)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Teams
