This position is responsible for supporting the training and development of FINRA licensed bankers in the General Bank through the creation of effective sales training strategies, tactics and a coaching framework. Creates programs for ongoing enablement and skill development. Serves as the subject-matter expert by keeping current on new processes, products, platforms and sales industry trends. Builds and leverages existing sales support tools and resources to standardize best-in-class practices. This position serves as an enterprise resource designed to enhance sales performance and conversational competence for General Bank sales roles and leaders. Enhances area and regional production through expert consultation, coaching, and collaboration with leadership.

Responsibilities
- Sales Training Development - Designs and develops general bank sales training programs to create focus and that result in behavior change. Build programs that prepare associates to be productive, competent and confident in order to sustain consistent, high quality client experiences. Works with appropriate business partners to identify and create broad-based development solutions. Ensures programs offer valuable insight and utilize competitive and effective techniques that have a positive impact on associate development and sales performance goals.
- Business Support - Supports sales operations, production, and efficiencies through all activities. Monitors processes by direct observation, implementing performance metrics, and performing intake analysis. Makes recommendations and provides guidance to team managers regarding effective approaches and tools for improving performance.
- Performance Management - Develops and delivers performance solutions for individuals or small groups based on need. Utilizes various media in the delivery of performance solutions that enhance production, associate knowledge, and work results. Conducts market visits to support sales initiatives, gather feedback and share insights. Provides feedback regarding bankers' progress to keep managers informed and engaged in development efforts. Ensures that training initiatives align with general bank sales training philosophy and promote attraction, retention and engagement of associates. Tracks learner experiences through out career development to ensure ROI and effectiveness of programs.
- Collaboration - Develops strong working relationships with sales leaders to support and enhance coaching efforts. Collaborates with leadership to assess knowledge and skill gaps, and makes recommendations on appropriate solutions for identified gaps. Works with sales leadership to understand performance opportunities and brainstorm on options to enhance performance through activity management, coaching and sales skills development.
Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of experience in Lending, Credit, or Business Development OR High School Diploma or GED and 12 years of experience in Lending, Credit, or Business Development. License or Certification Type: Possess valid Series 6, 63, state-specific life insurance licenses Required
Preferred Area of Experience: Developing, coaching, training, and leading sales associatesLicense or Certification Type: Additional professional designations (Ex: CFA, CFP, CHLU, ASTD certification) Preferred, Possess valid Series 7, 24 or 9/10, 65/66 Preferred, Possess valid state specific Health Insurance licenses Preferred, Possess professional designations of CFA, CFP or CHLU PreferredSkill(s): Ability to travel 50% of the time, Expert knowledge of securities and insurance products and sales, Skilled in matrix management with the ability to build strategy from data, Demonstrated ability to work independently
