Overview
This is a remote role that may only be hired in the following locations: North Carolina or Indiana
The Senior Enterprise Learning Solutions Development Consultant designs and evaluates learning solutions at a high level of complexity and scope. Provides consultation to stakeholders in order to determine business needs. Responsible for the creation of advanced strategies and solutions to address performance and operational efficiencies. Develops learning solutions and supporting materials for all modes of delivery including online course-ware, instructor-led training classroom sessions and webinars, self-study materials, and performance support tools. Writes plans, documents, and storyboards to facilitate training efforts. Analyzes data to evaluate the effectiveness of design and development solutions, and recommends improvements to enhance learning processes. Provides leadership and coaching within the work group to less experienced associates, and manages learning solutions projects.

Responsibilities
- Consultation - Uses instructional design (ID) methods to consult with stakeholders and determine business needs. Recommends appropriate learning solutions and strategies based on consultation. Conducts ongoing needs assessments to ensure success of developed solutions and strategies. Provides coaching and mentorship to less experienced associates in the work group.
- Design - Constructs training plans that include business needs, project plans, learning objectives, and intended outcomes. Creates storyboards that include core content, delivery treatments, including graphics and visual aids to support learning effectiveness.
- Development - Produces learning solutions through courseware development suite. Writes, edits, and creates materials for use in training efforts, including detailed design documents, storyboards, and other content. Develops knowledge checks and activities to support learning application and retention.
- Implementation and Evaluation - Designs and runs pilot training programs. Evaluates effectiveness of solutions through peer and learner reviews and data analysis, and implements content and curricula improvements.
- Project and Process Management - Manages learning solution projects including resource requirements, milestone tracking, and status reporting. Reviews learning solution processes to identify opportunities for increased performance and operational efficiency, and recommends enhancements. May assist in implementing process improvements.
Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Instructional Design or Adult Education Course Development
OR High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Instructional Design or Adult Education Course Development
Preferred Areas of Experience:
- Experience designing compliance training in a Large Financial Institution regulatory environment
- Advanced skills with the Articulate Suite
- Experience designing and developing solutions for financial institutions, preferably related to regulatory compliance
- Experience managing mid-to-large scale training related projects (initiation through implementation)
- Understanding of Adult Learning Principles
- Advanced MS Office Skills
- Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Industry certification preferred
- Technical certification preferred
