Overview
This is a remote role that may only be hired in the following location: Charlotte, NC.
This position serves as a key partner to senior executives and the broader senior leadership team. The role is responsible for facilitating and driving critical initiatives, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring the efficient operation of the organization. The leader will help monitor the business' activities, collect and evaluate information to produce executive level reporting including KPIs, KRIs, and financial performance, conduct performance analyses with a focus on financials, lead cross-functional projects, and help facilitate the periodic business management routines. To support these requirements, this position will be expected to develop and manage a high performing team and manage activities to provide a balanced view of strategic direction and tactical execution while incorporating risk management and compliance considerations in every aspect of the work. Additionally, this role will help implement and use industry-leading technology, data management practices, and BI reporting capabilities to "tell the business' story" and support management in communicating direction and ensuring alignment and commitment across the organization.

Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning - Collaborate with the senior executive and other senior leaders to develop and execute business strategies aligned with the organization's goals and objectives. Assist in the formulation of long-term business roadmaps and prioritize initiatives based on strategic importance.
- Project Management - Oversee the execution of key projects and initiatives from inception to completion. Develop project plans, establish timelines, allocate resources and monitor progress to ensure timely delivery and alignment with business objectives. This includes identifying potential risks and challenges related to key initiatives and developing mitigation strategies to address proactively. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards and industry best practices.
- Stakeholder Engagement - Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, department leaders and project teams. Communicate effectively to manage expectations and gain support for technology plus initiatives.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration - Facilitate communication and collaboration between assigned teams and other departments. Act as a liaison to ensure alignment of key initiatives with broader organizational priorities.
- Performance Metrics - Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the performance of initiatives. Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on progress and outcomes.
Bachelor's Degree and 12 years of experience in business planning & support OR High School Diploma or GED and 16 years of experience in business planning & support
Preferred Qualifications: Large bank experience in finance and strategy working with both consumer and small business banking client groups.
