Overview
This is a hybrid role, with the expectation that time working will regularly take place inside and outside of a company office located in Santa Monica, CA.
The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for supporting workforce planning processes at FCB to help us develop the right workforce and talent plans to deliver on our overall business strategy. Assesses where HR driven workforce planning capabilities can help business units achieve their strategic objectives and executes analysis at the highest level of complexity and data expertise to support workforce planning initiatives. Evaluates current practices, collects information and industry trends, and creates specifications to support workforce planning initiatives. Participates in special workforce planning and analytics projects and executes advanced technical reporting. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in workforce planning.

Responsibilities
- Resource planning - Provides expert support for business units to execute resource planning at regular intervals. Develops materials and templates to help facilitate resource planning sessions. Responds to inquiries, identifying issues, and working to continuously improve business practices. Gathers and synthesizes business unit feedback and input.
- Identifying workforce planning opportunities - Determines workforce planning capability needs through understanding business priorities and executing highly technical workforce analysis and reporting. Develops strategies to leverage workforce planning capabilities to achieve company and department goals, and communicates these through the use of specifications, project plans, or other forms of documentation.
- Reporting - Produces workforce reports based on data analysis, labor trends, and process capabilities. Conveys patterns, problems, and areas of improvement. Develops process enhancements based on reporting.
- Data Analysis - Sources, compiles, and interprets workforce data. Performs data analysis on an advanced level, effectively communicating and directing analysis output.
Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Analytics or modeling or reporting
OR High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in Analytics or modeling or reporting
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters of Business Administration or Finance
- Prior workforce planning or workforce analysis experience at First Citizens Bank or a large commercial bank
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
The base pay for this position is generally between $121,636 and $175,000. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
