Overview
This position is responsible for leading a sale team. Develops and manages a team of sales associates who engage in both remote sales and in-person partnerships. Oversees activities to generate new business opportunities. Oversees team performance, develops sales strategies to accomplish long- and short-term sales objectives and financial growth goals. Coaches associates to improve or enhance sales performance. Ensures productive collaboration between the team they manage and the bank partners with whom they work.
Responsibilities
- Team Management - Manages performance and personnel functions for a team, ensuring operational soundness while executing on a plan to deliver results that create value for the customer and meet the financial expectations of the bank. Drive accountability to role expectations, responsibilities and authorities, providing one on one feedback and coaching that supports associate development and achievement of results. Regularly and proactively leverage the expertise of bank partners, other managers or team.
- Sales and enablement - Executes the sales strategy to achieve the team's goals. Partners with other stakeholders, such as Marketing, Operations, product owners, and others to help team achieve sales goals. In collaboration with senior managers, sets sales goals. Sales results should align with the needs of the customer and ultimately support the organizational goals. Engages with customers, prospects and referral sources as needed in support of team. Engages in sales practices that are aligned to create value for both the customer and the bank. Ensures that sales team has the resources and information needed to achieve their goals.
- Service Standards - Fosters collaborative partnerships that deliver value for customers, prospects, and colleagues. Initiates conversation to uncover sales or referral opportunities. Listens attentively and asks insightful questions to understand customer needs and preferences; and takes prompt actions to address immediate needs. Proactively looks for ways to optimize performance by seeking coaching, supporting Bank initiatives, and leveraging tools to enhance activities.
- Operations and Risk - Ensures operational efficiency. Complies with all regulations, bank policies, procedures, and delegated authorities to manage risk related to credit, operational, reputational, regulatory, and legal aspects of personal interactions, customer transactions, and financial exposures. Completes required training by established deadlines.

Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Coaching and sales management OR High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Coaching and sales management
Preferred Qualifications
Managerial and/or call center experience
Sales oriented individual with proven success in managing individual and group objectives
North Carolina resident
Preferred Area of Experience
Five9License
Skill(s): Application of a structured sales process, Providing financial guidance and expertise, Financial literacy, Financial analysis, Knowledge of retail banking products and services
