Overview
This is a remote role that may be hired in several markets across the United States.
This Second Line of Defense role is responsible for supporting First Citizens BancShares' ERM Risk Reporting team by working with teams across the first and second lines of defense to produce monthly and quarterly Risk Reporting products. Work items will include reporting template creation, data and commentary gathering, and review of content and adherence to policies and standards. In addition, this position will partner with business and technical stakeholders to draft business requirements for report and dashboard enhancements. This position requires a high level of critical thinking, independent problem solving, technical Microsoft Office skills, attention to detail, and effective communication and relationship building skills to successfully support the Enterprise Risk Reporting cycles.

Responsibilities
- Create and modify advanced PowerPoint templates, including slide masters
- Manage deliverables by agreed-to dates with a high degree of quality
- Partner with associates at all levels of the organization to produce quality reporting
- Review and challenge content
- Develop and document reporting processes and controls
- Serve as a liaison between the ERM Risk Reporting team, technical teams, and stakeholders to develop requirements for new data views as needed
Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Financial Services, Enterprise Risk Management, Operational Risk Management, Compliance, Audit, Finance, or Accounting OR High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Financial Services, Enterprise Risk Management, Operational Risk Management, Compliance, Audit, Finance, or Accounting
Preferred Education: Advanced Degree Preferred Area of Experience: Enterprise Risk Management or Operational Risk Management License or Certification Type: Experience working with Governance Risk and Compliance applications, Knowledge of risk techniques and practices
Additional Requirements:
- Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills
- Understanding of and experience with various Enterprise Risk Management programs, such as Issue Management, Risk Appetite, etc.
- Experience translating business requirements for consumption by technical teams
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Exceptional organization, analysis, decision making and problem resolution skills
- Must be able to meet deadlines
- Uses independent judgment to accomplish objectives
- Flexibility in an environment with changing deadlines and expectations

The base pay for this position is generally between $73,023 and $126,573. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
