Overview
The Consumer & Business Risk Analytics team focuses on delivering analysis and insights for credit leadership across the General Bank.
This position performs analysis to identify factors that affect credit losses business growth, and sustainability. Assesses current processes, collects information, industry trends, and creates specifications to support business risk management. Determines improvements or solutions to address identified issues.
Responsibilities
Analytical Support - Periodic support for business analytical needs by responding to inquiries, identifying solutions, and working to help implement solutions. Assists in implementing recommended modifications and enhancements. May serve as an analytics resource to wider organization or business units.

Identifying Risk - Creates and implements methods of risk evaluation. Develops strategies or solutions to address evaluation results. May create models or simulation scenarios to test risk conditions.
Reporting & Data Analysis - Sources, compiles, and interprets data. Analyzes data for accuracy and efficiencies, effectively communicates analysis output. Produces reports based on data analysis, industry trends, and process capabilities. Conveys patterns, problems, and areas of improvement.
Governance & Monitoring - support ongoing activities that help manage risk and reduce losses including active line management for card products and return to accrual processes

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and 1 year of experience in Risk Analytics or Analytics OR High School Diploma or GED and 5 years of experience in Risk Analytics or Analytics

Analytical skills - business Intermediate Required
Communication skills - verbal Intermediate Required

Credit or underwriting training - preferred
Banking experience - preferred
