Principal Systems Analyst

Overview

This is a remote role that may be hired in several markets across the U.S.

Drive analytic efforts, deliver strategic insight, and act as a technical expert for business systems within the Bank. Perform at the highest level of service complexity in support of system operations, performance, and usage. Design and implement advanced solutions and specifications to resolve process issues, which may involve elements of testing and development. Serve as a resource to wider business units or associates, and mentors junior analysts. Oversee a team of functional regulatory reporting analysts to deliver on business needs in a timely manner. Create functional requirement documents based on the requirements gathered from the business users and other documentation such as Technical Specification Documents, Data Flow Diagrams, and Source-to-Target data mapping documents required for the impacted service delivery. Perform data analysis, data validation, and data quality checks on the key data attributes. Perform gap analysis and root cause analysis for data discrepancies and gaps. Identify data quality and integrity issues and provide resolution recommendations after performing in depth analysis of the issues. Coordinate AxiomSL form updates, patch installations, bug fixes, and enhancements in-line with the regulatory requirements. Actively coordinate the day-to-day Application Defect Management Process pertaining to defect identification, review, prioritization, assignment and fixing re-test. Liason with business partners and product owner to understand requirements and timelines, ensuring timely delivery. May work remotely pursuant to First Citizens' Remote Work Guidelines policy. The position is eligible for variable compensation, which may be in the form of incentive, bonus, or commission pay.

Qualifications

Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Business, or other related field plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience as Technology Lead, Manager-Projects, Business Analyst, Regulatory Reporting Analyst, or a related occupation.

Requires experience working as a regulatory reporting analyst. Requires experience with AxiomSL Controller View. Requires experience with SQL. Requires banking domain knowledge. Requires experience using Jira and Agile methodology. Requires experience with regulatory reporting preparation and analysis with the requisite processes and controls in AMERICAS, APAC or EMEA countries. Requires experience with AxiomSL platform. Requires experience with Lombard Risk, STB Reporter, or BearingPoint. Requires experience with principles of GAAP accounting standards. Requires experience with Vermeg/AxiomSL products with focus on Liquidity Stress Testing FR 2052a and CCAR (14M/Q/A). May work remotely pursuant to First Citizens' Remote Work Guidelines policy.

The base pay for this position is generally between $161,793 to $192,287 per year. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
