Overview
This is a remote role that may only be hired in North Carolina.
This position provides analytical support to the Bank's daily operations at an advanced level of ability. Analyzes data related to operational processes, systems, or products in order to evaluate performance. Implements enhancements based on identified trends and areas of improvement. Facilitates the daily workflow by answering escalated inquiries, resolving advanced issues, and other activities that support efficient operations. Assists in developing and evaluating all necessary controls and procedures. Ensures that all processes, systems, or products are effectively functioning and serving the needs of Bank clients. May provide guidance to less experienced analysts in the work group.

Responsibilities
- Operational Support - Performs various operational tasks that occur during customer or associate inquiries related to supporting community development grants and services programs. Serves as escalated point of contact for Philanthropy Operations support, monitoring team mailbox for inquiries and coordinating communication and requests between involved parties. May perform reconcilements, assist with testing systems, assign community development grant applications for CRA eligibility review, accurately input allocations in accordance with approved budget plan and facilitate collection of complete information from third parties to enable timely grant award disbursement.
- Analysis- Performs analysis to monitor overall progress, tracks issues and identifies opportunities to improve existing process.
- Business Expertise- Leverages knowledge of the community development grant process and applies it to help resolve internal and external inquiries with the appropriate levels of detail.
- Documentation- Handles standard documentation associated with daily operational activities, which may include processing, reviewing, or creating materials. Ensure the accuracy, completeness and timeliness of analysis reports. May administer department data sources or files.
Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience or High Schools Diploma/GED and 8 years of experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with MS Office Suite to aid in analysis of data and management presentations
- Keen sense of urgency with the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities and projects
