The General Bank Loan Booking Team is responsible for processing both new commercial/consumer loans and modifications to existing loans. The team plays a crucial role in ensuring newly originated loans are successfully boarded to our loan servicing system (ALS). This involves reviewing loan documentation for accuracy and completeness to guarantee data is correctly set up and ready for servicing. Alongside onboarding new loans, the team manages maintenance to existing loans such as interest rate adjustments, term extensions or repayment schedule revisions. Their work requires precision, collaboration with various business units throughout the bank, as well as a deep understanding of complex loan structures. By accurately onboarding loans and addressing necessary modifications efficiently, we take pride in our role of minimizing risk, ensuring compliance and setting the stage for exceptional client experience.
