Overview

This is a remote role that may be hired in several markets across the United States.

This position provides governance and oversight to the IT Asset Management (ITAM) Program by ensuring the program's published policy, standards, procedures, controls, and operating metrics are effectively managed and aligned with regulatory requirements and risk management strategies. Analyzes highly complex aspects of the ITAM program, evaluates effectiveness, establishes testing practices, facilitates reporting and supporting narratives, and identifies/supports improvement opportunities. Collaborates with peers, domain leads, risk lines of business, senior leadership, or stakeholders, as appropriate, and serves as an ITAM governance partner and subject matter expert. Establishes and maintains supporting procedures and job aids.

Responsibilities

  • Governance and Oversight: Provides governance and oversight to aligned ITAM domain's processes. Ensures published policy, standard, procedures, controls and operating metrics are current and aligned to regulatory requirements. Identifies and helps implement necessary updates to published documents.
  • Control testing: Establishes practices to perform sample testing of domain controls. Partner with domain to resolve any improvement opportunities.
  • Data Analysis: Sources, compiles, and interprets data. Performs data analysis on an advanced level, effectively communicating and directing analysis output.
  • Reporting: Produces reports based on data analysis, industry trends, and process capabilities. Conveys patterns, problems, and areas of improvement. Develops process enhancements based on reporting.
  • Communication: Prepares or assists with documentation. Includes leading roadshows, office hours, or other presentations for domains, technology partners, and other technology leadership.
  • Leadership: Leads by example, a forward thinker, and a lifelong student. Recognizes opportunities to mentor and educate ITAM team members and technology partners.
Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Analytics, Modeling or Reporting OR High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in Analytics, Modeling or Reporting

Desired skills:
  • 10 years' experience in ITAM/Proven IT Asset Management knowledge, including working experience of ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management, Software Asset Management, and/or Configuration Management modules.
  • Familiarity of FFIEC and ITAM frameworks such as ITIL, NIST, and COBIT.
  • Financial institution experience a plus.
  • Experience with defining, drafting, and implementing ITAM policies, standards, controls, and metrics. Includes control testing. Experience with Archer is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Includes ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical skills. Includes a keen attention to detail, an ability to identify and interpret data trends, and ability to assess current and future state processes from a risk lens.
  • Experience working in an agile environment. Experience with Jira is a plus.
  • Ability to take initiative and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven organizational and time-management skills, including the prioritization of multiple tasks.


If hired in North Carolina, the base pay for this position is generally between $102,000 and $145,000. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
