Overview
This is a remote role that may only be hired in the following location(s): AL, AR, CT, DE, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, ME, MS, MT, NC, NE, NM, NV, OH, OK, OR, PA, RI, SC, SD, UT, VA, VT, WV
This position is responsible for building and leading the Marketing Analytics capabilities for First Citizens Marketing organization.
Responsibilities
- Lead development of advanced analytics capabilities (including impact-level Marketing measurement and lead and propensity modeling)
- Partner with Marketing teams in defining marketing measurement standards, guidelines and KPIs for campaigns
- Partner with Marketing teams to develop measurement frameworks to support marketing tests (e.g., A/B testing, incrementality testing)
- Support process for monitoring marketing ROI to better connect marketing activities with business outcomes
- Provide insights-driven advice and consultation to the CMO and Marketing leadership to support decision-making, leveraging Marketing performance data
- Ensure adherence to security and compliance requirements
- Lead data strategy and infrastructure deployment (incl. tech ownership & database governance) with support of MarTech Lead
- Support executive reporting on Marketing's performance and contribution to the business (incl. Marketing ROI)

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of experience in Marketing and/or Analytics
OR High School Diploma or GED and 16 years of experience in Marketing and/or Analytics
Preferred:
- Experience directly managing analytics function responsible for interpreting, analyzing, and translating data into actionable insights
- Leadership experience
- Proven ability building data and advanced analytics capabilities within organizations in high-regulated sectors
- Able to nurture and motivate teams undergoing change
- Able to translate complex analyses into compelling narratives to advocate for Marketing within the enterprise and drive continuous performance improvement
- Able to cultivate strong working relationships and drive collaboration across multiple technical and operations teams
