Overview
This is a remote role that may only be hired in the following location(s): NC, NJ, AZ, MI, PA, GA, FL, TX.
This role contributes significantly to the overall success of projects. Responsible for managing and supporting the full delivery lifecycle across various disciplines. Responsible for ensuring efficient execution and management of essential activities related to project, program, financial, operations, control/compliance, and vendor management.
Responsibilities
- Project Management - Manage project initiation, planning, budgeting, and approval process for internal and enterprise projects. Partner with senior staff to facilitate project intake. Evaluate new requests ensuring scope alignment and reporting activities necessary to get the project defined and approved. Monitor project progress, maintain essential documentation, and partner with enterprise PMO as needed to ensure compliance with quality standards including SDLC, Project Management Lifecycle, Agile Standards, etc. Drive resolution with key stakeholders should there be any issues or risks posed to the project plan.
- Financial Management - Administer project financial activities such as expenses, reforecasting, invoicing, and reconciliation. Evaluate and approve resource needs aligning with project budgets and resource plans. Partner with project resource manages and provide alternative strategic options for resource needs as needed. Develop and maintain financial and resource plans, ensuring accurate reporting and system alignment.
- Vendor Management - Facilitates vendor management activities including the creation and monitoring of purchase orders, SOWS, and contracts. Manage vendor onboarding, offboarding, and contract extensions.
- Delivery Operations - Provide support in onboarding new team members and guiding existing team members to ensure adherence to established processes and standards. Evaluates opportunities to streamline processes and workflows to improve operational efficiency, addressing bottlenecks in the end-to-end flow. Recommends best practices to drive efficiency and improve time to production. Stay highly organized and use analytical skills to bring together information gathered through multiple processes to drive outcomes. Support technology teams in maintaining compliance with enterprise controls and delivery standards.

Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of experience in Project Management OR High School Diploma or GED and 7 years of experience in Project Management
Preferred Education: Bachelors Degree Preferred Area of Experience: Software Development, Infrastructure, Vendor Management, Financial Institution, LFI (Large Financial Institution) License or Certification Type: Project Management Certification Preferred, Certified Scrum Master (Any or Multiples) Preferred, SAFE 6.0 Certification (Any or Multiples) Preferred Skill(s): Ability to track and manage SOW / Contract for multiple projects, Ability to manage invoicing and reconciliation across multiple projects, Knowledge of SDLC, Knowledge of Execution Methodologies or Frameworks (Waterfall, Agile), Knowledge of end to end delivery lifecycle from system or data design to implementation, Ability to track and report on resource and financial forecasts across for multiple projects, JIRA, Collaboration Tools (SharePoint, Confluence), Ability to handle and organize large amounts of data.
